  | TORRE DE LA HORADADA Torre de la Horadada is a typically Spanish beach resort located some five miles south of Torrevieja. It's lively and colourful during the summer months as many Spanish families leave the heat of Murcia and Madrid and head for their second homes on the coast. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants in the town. It has a traditional Spanish square surrounded by tapas bars and restaurants, the Pueblo Latino Plaza with its mix of ice-cream parlours, shops, bars and restaurant. A key feature of the town is its promenade offering fine views of La Torre and the marina. The area has around 2,500 hours of sunshine per year. The average temperature is 18 C – but expect daytime temperatures to soar well above 35 C during the height of the summer season.
